Junior Gymnastics

Parent/Child (ages 9 months – 3 years, co-ed)

It’s never too early to get started on building a strong foundation! Our Seeds and Seedlings classes are designed to challenge your child’s natural curiosity to move and inspire exploration, all the while providing a unique bonding experience for you and your child. Using age-appropriate equipment, your child will be introduced to fun activities that will help improve motor skills, strength, balance and social skills. Adult participation is required.

Please visit the membership information page to learn more about membership policies and procedures.

Seeds (ages 9 months – 3 years old)

Our Seeds classes have a loose-structure approach that are designed for your child to try new things and build confidence. Class will begin each week with a group activity, followed by a quick stretch. Instructors will guide you through all the available activities and assist your little one with learning new skills.

Seedlings (3 years old, must be potty-trained or wear pull up)

Our Seedlings classes have a loose-structure approach that are designed for your child to try new things and build confidence. Class will begin each week with a group activity, followed by a quick warm-up and stretch. Instructors will guide you through all the available activities and assist your little one with learning new skills.

Preschool (ages 4 – 6, co-ed)

Watch your child continue to grow in our Preschool Gymnastics Program. Our classes offer a progression-based lesson plan that is age appropriate for 4-6 year olds. Instructors will focus on teaching basic gymnastics skills in a fun and challenging environment that is designed to improve coordination, strength, flexibility and balance, as well as enhance social and listening skills and self-confidence.

Sprouts (4 years old)

Our Sprouts classes have a more structured format and provide an independent learning experience for your child. Class begins with an obstacle course or group activity, followed by a quick warm-up and stretch.  Students will rotate to two different events (Floor, Bars, or Beam) each week where they work on individual stations that change bi-weekly. Class lesson plans will focus on teaching students the foundational gymnastics shapes and skills.

Buds (Kindergarten, ages 5 years old)

Our Buds classes are designed to prepare your child to transition into our much larger Rec Facility, while still allowing students to work in an environment that is appropriate for their age and size. Class will begin by working on key locomotive skills, such as hopping, kicking, and skipping, followed by a more advanced stretching sequence. Students will then rotate to two events (Floor, Bars, or Beam) each week where they will work on individual stations that change bi-weekly. Students will continue to perfect the basics, while also being challenged with learning more advanced skills, such as handstands, cartwheels, pullovers, and casting.
