Non-Competitive Gymnastics Classes for Ages 6-13+

At Dominique Dawes Academy, we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of gymnasts in a supportive and non-competitive environment. Founded by Dominique Dawes, a three-time Olympic gymnast and Olympic Gold Medalist, our academy is dedicated to fostering a healthy and compassionate culture in the sport of gymnastics. As a wife and mother of four, Dominique’s advocacy for health and wellness drives her commitment to creating a welcoming space for all children.

Class Information & Registration

Beginner Blooms Gymnastics

Our co-ed beginner classes follow a fun and progressive skill-building system that guides students from basic to more advanced skills on events including floor, beam, bars, vault, and tumble track. Students learn skills such as forward & backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, kickovers, pullovers, balancing, and more. With an emphasis on strength, flexibility, body awareness, and coordination, every student can grow at their own pace while building confidence and discipline.

Ages 6 – 9 yrs
Duration: 60 minutes

Intermediate Blooms Gymnastics

Our co-ed intermediate gymnastics classes are for students who have mastered the beginner level and are ready to work on more challenging skill progressions. Students will continue to perfect the basics, while starting to work on more difficult skills such as handstand forward rolls, roundoffs, backbend kickovers, back hip circles, glide swings, skills on high beam, and more. 

Students must meet skill requirements and be recommended by an instructor to enroll.

Ages 6 – 9 yrs
Duration: 60 to 75 minutes*

Advanced Blooms Gymnastics

Our co-ed advanced gymnastics classes are for students who have mastered the beginner and intermediate levels and are ready to work on more challenging skill progressions. Students will continue to practice their current skill set while starting to work on more difficult skills such as front and back walkovers, back handsprings, glide kips, front handspring vaults, cartwheels on high beam, and more.

Students must meet skill requirements and be recommended by an instructor to enroll.
