Frequently Asked Questions About Our Gymnastics & Ninja Academy
Whether you’re new to gymnastics or already part of our community, this FAQ page is here to provide quick answers about our classes, policies, and programs. If you don’t see your question listed, our team is always happy to help.
What is the commitment policy?
There are no long-term contracts; we operate month-to-month, and you can enroll during any time of the year. To drop from classes, simply send a drop request via the Member Portal before the 20th to avoid charges for the following month. As of the 21st of the month you are committed to the following month, no refunds will be given.
How to get help with my account?
We handle all account help via email. We cannot make account changes via phone or in person. Email us at your location, clarksburg@ddgna.com, rockville@ddgna.com, or columbia@ddgna.com, for account assistance.
How do enrollment and transfers work?
- Your enrollment will start the same day that you register unless you enroll within 4 hours of the start of class. In this case, your enrollment begins the following week. If you wish to take a class the same day you register but did not enroll within the designated timeframe, please contact our Member Experience team for support.
- If you would like to transfer a class, please send a request via the Member Portal or by emailing our Customer Experience team. Keep in mind if you register in an additional class, it will not automatically drop any other classes unless it’s specifically requested as a transfer.
- If you start classes mid-month, we will prorate the first month.
- We do not do future enrollments or pause enrollments.
How much do classes cost?
We charge a fixed monthly tuition fee. See our class schedule to see the fee for the specific class you are interested in.
When is the monthly fee charged?
- Fixed monthly tuition fees are charged on the 1st of the month. (Example: tuition charged on April 1st for April classes.)
- $15 NSF fee for declined payments.
What is the membership fee?
- There is a one-time registration fee per family of $65.
- Registration fee required for waitlisting; refundable after 6 months if unable to enroll.
- No other refunds for the registration fee.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, multi-class and multi-sibling discounts are available. Get 10% off the lower-priced class when you register for multiple classes at a time. Or, get a multi-sibling discount if you register more than one child for classes. These offers cannot be combined.
Are there trial classes available?
What is the waitlist & how long do I have to wait?
The waitlist allows families to get in line for classes that are in high demand. You are welcome to waitlist for as many classes as you want, though we ask that you remove yourself from the waitlist if you’re no longer interested. The only charge to join the waitlist for non-member families is the original membership fee. The waitlist is an automated system that will contact families in rank order once there is availability. A family has 24-hours to accept or decline the invitation, otherwise they’ll be skipped over.
What is your makeup policy?
- Enrolled families can earn up to one excused absence each month to earn a make-up token. Once awarded, that make-up token is valid for 90 days and can be used towards another class or open gym. Families must remain active in order to use their make-up tokens.
- Submit future absences at least 24 hours before class via the Member Portal in order to earn a make-up token.
- No make-ups can be coordinated through email or phone. Please use the Member Portal.
- Make-ups will be forfeited if you withdraw from a class.
- No rescheduling of make-ups or issuing of additional make-up token for a miss make-up session.
- In the event of an emergency or last-minute illness, please contact our Member Experience team prior to the start time of your child’s class.
What if there is inclement weather?
We make every effort to communicate gym delays or closures at the earliest possible moment via social media, on our website, and by sending an e-mail directly to our currently enrolled families. For that reason, it is key that we have your email in our system and that you do not opt out of receiving communications from us in the Member Portal.
What days will the gym be closed for holidays?
Will my tuition be prorated for holiday closures?
No. Our monthly tuition is based on 48 classes per calendar year. Most months have four classes, while some may have five and others may have three. Just as we will not charge for months with five, we will not prorate for months with three.
What to wear for classes?
