Convenient for Alpharetta, Milton, and Johns Creek Families
In the North Fulton community, family activities often revolve around busy schedules and calendars. At Dominique Dawes Gymnast Academy, we offer a low-pressure environment for families to unwind and grow their kids’ confidence.
Whether you’re the parent dropping your kid off in between meetings or you’re the stay at home mom who enjoys watching weekly practice, we are here to make your life easier.
From Tiny Tumblers to Aspiring Competitors: Programs for Every Age
Every four years, we are treated to the best athletes competing in the Olympics. You were probably first introduced to gymnastics there. Or maybe you’ve watched American Ninja Warrior thinking how cool it would be to compete on a show like that.
Whether your child is already doing cartwheels in the living room or they’re eager to step into the gym for the first time, our classes accommodate the children who know where they belong and those who are looking for the right fit.
Junior
The junior classes start at 18 months and go up to 6 years old. This is great for parents who want to bond with their newborns all the way up to kids learning foundational skills.
Beginner
If you’re unsure of where to start, we welcome you to the Academy to learn the basics of tumbling. Your child will be able to grow at a steady pace.
Recreational
Not everyone dreams of becoming a professional athlete. Some kids just want to have fun after school. Recreational classes allow your child to progress at their own pace, while also learning life skills.
Tumbling
Back to the Olympics. Maybe the games inspired your child to tumble after watching the elite do it. Our tumbling classes focus on handstands, cartwheels, and other tricks.
Ninja
If your child has watched American Ninja Warrior and has dreamed of putting their skills to the test, they have the opportunity to do so in a variety of Ninja classes. This is a great way to build strength and endurance.
Competitive
Competitiveness shows up in a variety of ways in our life, not just in sport. It could be amongst family members, peers or teammates.
If your child relates to this, the competitive program is a great fit. Experience an intensive program, while also still having time for activities outside of training.

Beyond Cartwheels: Life Skills Kids Learn at Our Alpharetta Gym
We know it’s exciting when your child lands their first cartwheel or trick they’ve been practicing for weeks. It’s even better when they can share the values their instructor instilled in them.
We emphasize a healthy and supportive environment for all of our gymnasts. We teach you the value of teamwork, support and listening in a non-competitive setting. These life skills help our gymnasts at home, school and in their daily lives.
When you step into our gym, you are surrounded by adults who want to see young girls and boys grow up to be the best versions of themselves.
From Screen Time to Active Time for North Fulton Kids
Many parents are concerned about the amount of time their child spends on screens. It is getting harder for kids to have human connections because they are used to engaging behind a screen.
Our classes are a great way for your child to ditch the screens, learn new skills and make lifelong friends. From beginner to competitive classes, your child is guided every step of the way by supportive instructors.
Helping Shy, Energetic, and Everything-in-Between Kids Thrive
It’s important to know about the variety of classes offered, but it’s equally as important to know that all personality types are supported at our Academy.
Some kids are extremely outgoing and talk to every student in class. Other kids are more reserved and value smaller groups. We understand that each child is different, which is why we adapt our coaching style to fit their needs. We make sure each child feels encouraged and motivated to come back.
